PIECE WORK DECISION.

QUESTION OF APPEAL. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Juno 30. “The question of an appeal against the piece work wages decision by the Magistrate yesterday is to bo considered by the Labour Department. If the department does not make, an appeal tho union will do so,” said the secretary of the Otago 'Woollen Mills Employees’ Union, who added, “if the attitude of the employers is continued the only thing to do will be to eliminate piece work. Whether or not piece work is to he done will be discussed at the next union meeting. If it is decided to cut it out the employers will be tho losers.”
