Campbell (wife of the president), who wore black silk ring velvet with diamante trimmings, with a mauve spray giving pretty relief; Mrs H. W. Bennett, black marocain; Mrs R. G. Henderson, black lace and a black velvet coatee; Mrs A. Rutledge, wine cliarmeuse, silver ornaments; Mrs A. Montgomerie, black georgette, cherry spray; and Mrs C. Lawrence, green taffeta. O. Bond, who had chosen a frock of wine lace; Mrs J. C. Christian, bine lace and georgette; and Mrs Nicholsen, floral georgette. The music was provided by an orchestra. while Messrs T. Lawton and C. Hickford carried out fhe duties of TVJ.C.’s.. Items were rendered by Messrs G. Rattle, W. Baker and S. Lawton. Congratulations are due to the chairmen of the celebrations committee (Mr N.
