MAR IST BROTHERS’ QUARTERS.

SCHOOL RECORDS LOST. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, June 30. Early this morning a fire which started in the study gutted the J urist Brothers’ living quarters attached to the school at the corner ol Wicksteed and Dublin Streets., Mater also flooded tlie classrooms, which could not be used to-day. The library and all the school records were destroyed. Brothers'Oswyn, Sylvester and Bronden who were sleeping on the premises had narrow escapes, having 'to make their way out ol a window on to a steei) roof over a classroom which, owing to the frost, was very slippery at the time. The building, a wooden one, was erected 40 years ago.
