CROP FAILURES.

CRISIS IN CANADA. OTTAAVA AIAY TAKE STEPS. Received June 30, 12.55 p.m. OTTAAVA, June 19. A report issued by the Bureau of Statistics states that Saskatchewan faces the worst crop failure in history. Aluch wheat land is definitely beyond hope. Alberta depends upon the early arrival of rains; the Alanitoba conditions are excellent. A Regina message states that Government officials issue a warning that the province is rapidly approaching an economic crisis through crop failure diminishing fodder. Municipalities in the drought area are faced with critical conditions and are clamoring to the Government for aid to escape starvation. Thousands of cattle have been shipped to Manitoba and Alberta. Ottawa is considering making an emergency grant.
