EMBARGO ON STOCK

j 3.15 P.M. EDITION

NEAV ZEALAND CRITICISED. “A GREAT MISTAKE.” Received Juno 30. 11.45 a.m. LONDON, June 29. Regret that the New Zealand embargo on stock from Britain had not been lilted was expressed by Air G. B. Dernier, leader of the New Zealand and South African farmers touring Europe, when speaking at a luncheon tendered to the party. “I think it a great mistake that New Zealand is not opening her doors to cattle from England. Many people at Homo are adopting the wrong attitude. Our party hopes to inspect the quarantine station here and gather vital information concerning the question of removing the ban.” Mr AV. J. Jordan and others referred to the value of such tours and hoped they would be followed by more.
