JUDGMENT GIVEN.

PARKING ON FIRE PLUG. “Per Press Association. AVELLTNGTON, June 29. In a reserved judgment valid throughout New Zealand, Mr J. H. Luxford, S.M., to-day held that an offence against the motor regulation with regard to keeping fire plugs clear arises only when the driver or person in charge completes the operation of stopping or parking, and such person is not responsible if an unauthorised person subsequently moves the vehicle into the prohibited area. Tf the transport authorities had intended otherwise they had failed to express that intention. He dismissed two charges, being satisfied that some one else had moved the cars to make room for themselves or to enable them to drive away.
