EMPIRE AIR MAIL.

INAUGURATION BY THE KING. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 28. The King will send a letter to the Governor-General of South Africa by to-morrow’s air-mail, which will inaugurate the first part of the Empire airmail scheme by which first-class mail will be sent by air to all parts of the Empire for lid a half-ounce and Id for a postcard. The Secretary for Air, the PostmasterGeneral and Empire representatives will attend to-morrow’s inauguration ceremony at Southampton airport.
