FAMILY GATHERING.

A very pleasant at home was given recently by Mr and Mrs W. Alsop at their new home in Denbigh Street. The guests, who included all the members of the family, were received by Airs Alsop, wearing a frock of wine georgette with a smart black coatee. The drawing room, where a cheery log fire blazed, was charmingly decorated with bowls of autumn flowers, and foliage and the breakfast room, where supper was served, was decorated with howls of berries and foliage. Competitions, games, and dancing were much enjoyed. Among the guests were Air and Airs A. Alsop (Foxton), Air and Airs Thompson (Palmerston North), Air and Airs A. AVright, Air and Airs L. Thomas, Air and Airs A. S. Alsop (Napier), and Air and Airs AY. E. Alsop (New Plymouth).
