HEAVY RAINFALL.

Per Press Association. AVHANGA RE I, June 28

During the last seven days AVhanga rei has been drenched with 6.86 inches oi rain, the heaviest daily tall. 2.5 inches, being recorded on Tuesday morning. Little flooding has occurred. Yesterday the weather began to clear and the prospects seem better for the AVintei Exhibition, which Hon. P. Frasei opens to-morrow.
