PREMISE'S ILLNESS
GRAVE ANXIETY FELT, BULLETIN ISSUED TO-DAY, The following official bulletin was issued at 11,30 a.m. to-day/ “The PKime Minister’s condition continues to give cause for grave anxiety,” The previous official bulletin regarding the Prime Minister’s health was issued on Monday, April 20th, when it was stated that further bulletins would not be issued unless any marked change took place.' A motion of sympathy with the Prime Minister in his illness was carried at yesterday’s meeting of the Wellington provincial executive of the Dominion Dairy Farmers’ Union, and the hope was expressed that he would soon be restored to good health. “It is with sincere regret we learn that the condition of the Prime Minister remains serious,” remarked Mr H. Frost, president of the New Zealand Rugby Union, at the annual meeting of that body yesterday. “I am sure that every delegate present will unite with me in deepest sympathy with the Prime Minister, Mrs Massey and their family, and in expressing tho sincere hope that Mr Massey will soon be restored to good health.” At the opening of the National Rifle Association’s meeting at Tventham this morning Colonel Hughes, the chief executive officer, referred to Mr Massey’s health and said that all regretted the Premier’s illness, and on his motion the competitors unanimously recorded a vote of sympathy of the National Rifle Association with the Prime Minister and family. Resolutions of sorrow at the Prirao Minister’s illness and sympathy for Mrs Massey were passed this week by the Board of Governors of Scots College, Wellington, and the Wellington Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
