CLOUDY AND UNSETTLED.
The Government. meteorologist wired today:—The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong prevailing. The weather appears likely to he cloudy and unsettled at times. The barometer shows little movement. FORECAST FOR SEVEN DAYS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 23. Tho following weather forecast for seven days has been issued Distribution pressure, and a complicated tropical and Antarctic) factor are operating, while a large high pressure system rules over tho North Island. Expect cloudy and changeable weather with nasty rain squalls and mist in the low areas, although bright periods will intervene. The conditions throughout the period should be more or less unsettled. A new Antarctic disturbance, Zacal, is due within three or four days. Winds variable chiefly between N.N,E, N.W.W., and S.W. Se ts roughish.
