RACING ROUGHS.

COMMISSION AGENT ATTACKED. Received April 27, 1 p.m. LONDON, April 26. Five members of a racing gang on Saturday savagely attacked George Kent, a turf commission agent, near Euston station, slashing his face with razors in a crowded thoroughfare. No one to intervene and the attackers escaped. Kent fell to the pavement unconscious and now lies in hospital in a critical condition. A similar gang previously slashed Kent from hand to elbow with razors. —A. and N.Z. cable.
