PALESTINE’S FUTURE
EARL BALFOUR SANGUINE. AGITATORS NOT WANTED. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received April 27, 10.5 a.m. LONDON, April 26. A large force of police restrained the dense throngs of enthusiastic Jewish admirers welcoming Earl Balfour home to London from Palestine. Earl Balfour was bronzed and cheerful. He yaid, “1 am more sanguine than ever about the future of Palestine. I believe that if only agitators leave matters alone, everything will be all right. The Jews are fully conscious of the necessity of working harmoniously with the Arabs.—A. and N.Z. cable.
