UNIONISTS’ DISPUTE.

ACTION AGAINST OFFICIAL. SYDNEY, April 21. The Equity Court granted a writ of attachment against Jacob Johannsen, assistant secretary of the Seamen’s Union, for alleged contempt of Court. The application was made by Thomas Campbell, ship's greaser and a member of the original Fordsdale crew, who asked for the issue of the writ as the statement by Johannsen that he was not a member of the Seamen’s Union prevented him obtaining employment. Campbell had previously been granted an injunction against the officials of the union, restraining them from declaring him a non-inember of the union.—Press Association.
