HALF-HOLIDAY QUESTION.

MEETING OF SATURDAY SUPPORTERS. A meeting of those interested in the movement for Saturday half-holiday and Friday late night for Palmerston North was held last evening, Mr A. D. Campbell presiding over a good attendance. A letter was received from the Feilding organisation stating that it was confidently anticipated that that town would carry Saturday half-holiday. Detailed work in connection with tho campaign was gone into, and various reports were received from sub-committees. Arrangements were made for the final shots in the campaign and the meeting then adjourned.
