Upper Hatt Stock Sale.
Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report on their sala at the Upper Hutt yards on Thursday as under:—A good yarding of cattle of fair quality. Only some 150 sheep were penned, which were easily disposed of. Good butchers' wethers sold from 16s 3d to 17s 3d, breeding ewes 13s 4d go 14s 9d. A very fine line of fat cows on account Mr George Hutne, Martinborough, were yarded, and sold at £6 each; other fat cows ranged from £3 5s to £4. 24 dairy cows, on account W. H. Wackrow, averaged £3 16s, thi3 lot being fold in one line. Other sales were yearling steers, £1 7s 6d; weaner heifers, 19s 6d; empty cows, up to £2. Grey gelding, £15 los.
