London Market Advice.
Messrs Daleety and Company, Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cables from their London office, dated Hist May:— Tallow: Since our last telegram of the 23rd May, tallow (all sorts) higher by 3d to 6d per cwt., except prime mutton, which remains unchanged. There will be no public sales of tallow next week. Frozen meat: Since our last telegram of tho 17ch ultimo, prices for f-ozen mutton in general are lower by Jd to 4-d per lb. The market for N.Z. crossbred frozen lamb and beef is unchanged Batter : There is no change in the Copenhagen official quotation and we expect no immediate change in prices. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom lor tbe week ending 26th May amounted to 76,000 cwt., as compared with 71,000 cwt. for the corresponding week of 1905
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from their London house, dated 29th ult. :—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow : Fine mutton 80s 3d, good fceef 28s 9d, mixed 27s 9d. Fine mutton, market dull.
