It is estimated that three million j school children in Great Britain and elsewhere are celebrating Empire Day to-day. OTTAWA, May 24. Five thousand school children and fifteen thousand others, in Queen's Park, Toronto, yesterday took part in the ccremonv of placing flowers on the statue of Queen Victoria, which was covered. 1 . • The Governor-General reviewed nine companies of school cadets. (Received May 25, at 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, This day. The Governor-General and British Empire League of Australia sent an Empire Day message to the King.
