Macmahon's Dramatic Co
As previously announced, the wellknown theatrical managers, the Messrs Macmahon, intend paying a return visit to Palmerston on Monday and Tuesday next, with the 26 members of their popular dramatic organisation. Since their last appearance here, the company's tour of the colony has been of the most gratifying nature, the 48 nights' season in Auckland, 30 nights at Christchurch, 24 in Dunedin.andthe season of 19 nights at the Opera House, Wellington, which comes to its conclusion on Friday evening next, having established records in those cities regarding attendances. The initial production at the Opera House on Monday next will be the stirring English drama, " A Rogue's Daughter,'' which will be presented for the first time here. On Tuesday Hugh Conway's notable work, " Called Back," will be staged with a strong cast of characters. All the priginal scenery and mechanical effects will be brought into requisition, the productions being mounted with the same attention to detail as that which characterised the Wellington performances. Mr J. F. Macmahon is now in town completing the necessary preliminaries.
