The Prophet Rua.

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND. This Day. Inspector Cullen and Colonel Davis have returned to the city from an investigation into the movements of the Maori prophet " Rua." They say he is a convicted thief, and is not a relation of Te Kooti. He has a few unarmed followers, and goes from settlement to settlement. He is not well received by many natives and is doing no harm, but makes inroads on the native food supplies.
