The weather was fine this morning, but the track is still on the heavy side. Mawhiti did steady work on the flat. Bonheur put in two rounds of solid sprinting, covering the last five furlongs in lmin 6sec. Albuera and D'nil went four furlongs, the latter giving the best display. Playfair and Rangiwhenua traversed a mile, the former finishing strongly and well ahead in Imm oOsec. Aeolus, Kuroki, and Destruction we/e associated over a mile, the former being slightly m front, Destruction and Kuroki being close up. The latter showed no signs of lameness, the time 1.49 l-o. Miss King was m excellent buckle and was sent twice round the schooling fences. She jumped splendidly and was then given a solid round on the flat. Waitarereand Exmoor were associated over hurdles twice round, the latter being much too good for his companion. He jumped in great style. Pardon and Lualla ran five furlongs, the latter being well in front, and doing the last four in olsecs. Cavatina threw six fast furlongs behind, the last five taking lmin shsecs. Ailsa and Gold Crown did six furlongs, the last five taking lmin 4secs, both moving well. Sedgmoor beat Dear Dolly over six furlongs easily.
