The pubhc will be pleased to'hear that _I_.^ arry ■ Rlckards intends sending one ot his strongest.vaudeviUe- companies to Palmerston, the visit being fixed for Friday, and,: Saturday next, October 14 and 15. Mr Mabee, touring manager, is in .town .making the. necessary arrangements The company consists of sixteen hrst-class artistes, foremost among them, being-Mr. W. Yah Allen, who has just come out^from London under engagement to Mr Richards. Mr Van Allen is a high-class musical artist, and, plays every class of instrument imaginable. His entertainment is refined, amusing, and^ most instructive. Miss Maud ±scatty, who recently returned. from: London, where she was principal boy in last yearVDrury Lane Pantomine, is a member of the company, also.that clever ventriloquist, J. W. Winton, Miss Maggie Fraser, serio-comic and dancer; the bistere Smith, clever duettists; Miss Ada Delroy. and Mr James Bell (old favourites); Messrs Edward Ford, G. Bantley and Arnold Phil. The latest series of animated pictures will also be shown. _The box plan opens at Mr Parks Book Depot on Monday next, where seats can be secured without extra booking fee. Popular prices will be i charged for admission.
