At the Addingtoh market to-day theentries were moderate.
Fat cattle —121 were yarded, unusually good in quality. Prices firmed for bettor sorts. Steers, prime £10 5s to £12 17s 6d, other £7 los to £9 15s, heifers £7 2s 6d to £10 2s 6d, cows £6 10s to £8 os; per 1001b extra choice brought 3Ca, prime 24s to 265, inferior 21s to 235.
Fat sheep. The yarding was slightly larger than last week, merinos predominating. Prices were: Extra prime wethers 2Ss to 30s, prime 24s to 27s (3d, others 20s 8d to 23s 6d; extra prime ewes to 28s 6d, piime 21s 6d to 255, medium 20s 9d to 225, others 16s 6d to 18s; prime merino ■wethers 22s to 26s sd, medium 17s 6d to 20s; crossbred hoggets 20s to 23s 3d.
Sixty lambs, mostly rather light, elicited brisk bidding. Best brought 17s 6d to 225, smaller 14s to 17s.
The entry of pigs was good. Porkers were in demand at firm rates. • Bacone/a 45s to 645, equal to 4£d to sdperlb: porkers 30s to 375, equal to 4fd to oil per lb ; large stores, 26s to 28s; medium 18S' to 22s 6d; suckers ami weaners 9s to 145." . - ■• . .
