Mr A. Peters has had stables erected on the road leading to the course so as to enable him to'carry on training operations to greater advantage in future. The stables include seven loose-boxes, also rooms for other purposes. Mr Peters has St. Alba, a.3-year-old colt by St. Hippo, and a couple of youngsters, untried, located at the stables.

At his commodious stables on the FoxtonLine Mr J. McTaggart has in work the Sou-wester — Undine colt Ngatarua, who is looking well and should give a good account of himself at the Otaki meeting. Mr McTaggarfc has accommodation for ten or eleven horses at his stables. '
