DUNEDLX- September 24. The match between the North and South Islands was played on the Caledonian Ground to-day in the presence of about 4000 spectators. The ground was in good order, and the weather all that could be desired. A very interesting; game resulted in a draw, each side scoring a try. In the first spell McGregor got a try for the North Island in a fair position, after a good run down the. line, Takarangi failing to convert.
