Treeweek was 2 up at the end of tho' first round, but at the .thifty.seconl hole Harman was" 2 up and 4to play. They were all square at the thirty-sixth hole. The thirtyseventh and' thirty-eighth were halved, and Treeweek won the thirfcy-ninth and the match.' • - ' GISBOBNK, Sept. 25. The golf match Jtiawke's Bay t. Poverty Bay resulted in a wiu for (he -latter by 5 to 3, out of nine games played, r The weather was fine and the links in good order.' The local team also won the ladies' match.
