Municipal Band.

Concert on Wednesday.

On "Wednesday evening the Municipal Band will give a concert in the Zealandia Hall. An excellent musical programme has been prepared. Mr J. Parker, of the Wellington Garrison Band, and an unbeaten champion of the colony in cornet playing, is down for two itemsTheodore Hock's "Klange Aus Steierrnark," Op. 21, and " Scandinavische' Eomanze " and "Lass- Mich in Deiner Nahewerless," Op. 287.' Mrs C. Louisson and Mrs Mathiesori, of Eketamma, sing solos.. Mr \V. Staines, the champion euphonium player, will also contribute, as will also Mr P. V. Mattson and Mr P. Tombs, violin and piano respectively... The gentleman vocalists include Messrs Luke, of Wellington, Bennett and ■Williams. The prices have been fixed'at 3s, 2s, and Is, andthe box plan is open at G. H. Bennett's.
