The Stock Market.

Mr W. Eose reports:— — Since last report sales have been held atWoodville and Dannevirke, and a clearing sale at Mr T. Miller's farm, Umutaoroa. The continuously wefc and cold weather has kept feed backward, and consequently affected speculation to some extent.

At Miller's sale there was a large attendance of the public, considerable interest being attached to the sale of the farm,'-which is considered one of the best in the Umutaoroa Farm Settlement. The dairy cattle were well competed for, the better and more forward animals fetching from £8 to £10. Others as per quotations. Woodville sale.—Springing heifers £o 17s 6d, backward do £5, store cows and heifers £3 10s, yearlings £2 4s to £2 10s.

Dannevirke sale,—Fat cows £6, forward bullocks £6, dairy heifers near profit £6 5s to £6->ip?, backward do, £4 to £5 ss, 3yr steers £5 ss, 25r do £4 10s, ISmos do £3 15s, yearlings £2 JOs, empty cows and heifers £3 10s.' Miller's sale—Forward dairy cows, 1.8 to LlO, late calvers Lsto L 6 10s, heifers in calf L 5 15s, 18-month heifers L3lss. yearling to 15.month steers and heifers L 2 19s, heavy drauaht gelding L 46, light draughts L 26 10s to L 32, breeding sows 455. Farm implements and sundries realised good auction values. .
