Questioned if ho would carry out his promise to take action agirinst trusts, the Hon. C. C. Kingston said the Government had determined on legislation against trusts that oppressed tho public, and a bill would bo introduced next session to thut effect. There wns no proof this trust intended to raise prices. Only when prices were unduly raised, did the Government propose to act.
