There was ii very good muster at the Government iuspection ot tho Manawatu Iliile Uadets last evdniog, all cadots being present.
The corp3 was exercised in tiring the " fou do joto" for Coronation day. There is a battalion parado ou Ftiday, 20th ins!,, a', which all members are requested to bo present. There will also be a parado f.c.t Wednesday as usual, but witho.it uniforms, for tho purpose of driliing up for tho Coronation celebrations.
The class for the non-commissioned officers U held every Thursday evening in the drill hall prior lo their going up fcr non-com. examiiiat'i-iis.
*fter tho parade las', evening, Capt. Jack introduced Mr G. Boss, of the Fourth Contingent, as a lieuLensnt to tno c .rps The corps is now fully staffed with_officers and men, and Captain Jack is still enrolling members who wish to join, the membership now being up to 80 all told.
The Fancy Dress Ball lias been postponed till the Kith July, on account of the Coronation celebrations.
Ihe Cadets play the Terrace. End Football Club next Saturday on the Sports Ground.
