Thero was a good attondanco of deii'gates at the Hockey Associations' meeting last night. Mr Warden was voted to tho chair.
A letter from the Wellington Association was received; ro forming a New Zc-alanu Hockey Association, and it we.s proposed that tho conference of delegates should bo hold in PulinerEto-', owing to its suitability as a centro cf the northern clubs.
Tho following senior mutches will be played on Wednesday afternoon:—Al-htunbi-a v. Old Boys, Mr 0. Rush refc-ree, No. 1 Show Ground ; Zilidlaiid v. Pioneer, Sir Manlen referee. No. 2 Show Ground ; Pnlmerston v. Hiflos, Mr Goodger referee, Sport 3 Ground. The High School will meet tho Midland juniors m the junior championship on the Sports Grounds.
ll was resolved that tho referees be 'ukert to enforce the rulo against raising the ball in hitting, as th;s practice is •lanqorous and against tho rules of hockey.
