Dull sale for nil qualities of mutton and a further drop in prices seems imminent. Average price to-day tor Canterbury mutton 'Id; Dune-din, Southland and iV.It.K. C-3., 3|rl; other North Island million, 3-j'd. Lamb market depressed. Stocks are accumulating. The average price for Canterbury brand is -i^l; New Zealand lambs, other than Canterbury. 4.d. Beef market weak. New Zealand hinds 4Ad, fores 3;! d.
