GENERALS AT VARIANCE.
Capetown, January 9. The accounts furnished by newspaper correspondents at the front show that differences occurred between Lord Methuenandthe late General Wauchope, of the Highland Brigade, as to the manner in which the British attack should be made oh the Boer entrenchments at Magersfontein.
