Mr Ward's Bankruptey.
(Press Association) Invercaroill, July 13. A meeting of the Hon. Mr Ward's creditors takes place at half-past two this afternoon. His statement shows, omitting shillings and pence, unsecured creditors, £31,265. Secured creditors, £86,926 (less estimated value of securities, £41,416). Total debts, £72,681. The assets are:—Cash in hand, £70; furniture, JE2OO. Total assets, £270. Deficienoy, £72,407. The principal unsecured creditors are—J. G. Ward Farmers' Association, in liquidation, calls on shares £30,400; Oliver Samuel, solicitor, New Plymouth, £350; Ward Farmers' Association, £207; A. Lee Smith, Dunedin, £120; J. B. Eeid, Christchurch, £100. In Chambers to-day in the Ward Farmers Association liquidation, the Judge made an order for the payment of a call to the liquidators on or before August 13, as against all in the liquidators' list of July 3, except those who paid an instalment or in full on or since that date.
