(By Electric Telegraph-Copyright) Per Press Association. Perth, July 12. A large number of men are leaving for a new alluvial field at Balagundi, Hampton Plains, near Kalgoorlie. It is reported that 1 fair gold has been found, but nothing sensational obtained. Sydney, July 12. A collapse of stones at the Broken Hill Proprietary mine caused four men to be imprisoned. With great difficulty they managed to escape to old workings. There are signs of an | extensive subsidence of the mine.
