The market is very unsettled. The prices demanded by southern millers for flour is much m advance of prices previously quoted, and now range at from £10 to £11 lOs/.0.b.,: while pollard and bran are almost unprocurable, and for .both,. 10s per ton more is asked than sales were effected at last week. Chick wheat is very dear, and we have heard of a parcel changing hands at quite 4d per bushel advance ion last quoted prices. Oats are hardening, and we should say there was quite an advance of 2d since our last repott, but notwithstanding that, a higher price ig" being asked at. the producing centre's ; there, are great quantities'offering. Business m dairy produce is far from brisk ; the fruit market is very dull, the fruiterers complaining that there is little or- no -business doing.
