Train Delayed.

Last nigbt'i down train from Halcombedid not reach Palmerston until this morning, haying been detained through a boiler tube bursting. The ballast engine, was m readiness to start by 10 p.ro, but waited official orders to start till 2 a.m. The coincidence was particularly unfortunate *f the engine liaving broken dowu, and tbßiri^e being oselesa at the same time.
