Oar sale on Wednesday, 2nd June, was not so large as usual, but the time of year considered, the supply of stock was quite equal to the demand, and we look for small sales for a month or so. In cattle, quiet young steers find purchasers at fair values, arid there is enquiry, for good young ewes m lamb, but no high figures can be expected. We quote : — . Cattle.— Fat cows, £3 Us to £4 4s ; store cows, £2 ss; mixed yearlings, 345 ; milkers m calf, <£3, Sheep. — Store wethers, well forward, 9s to 93 8d ; fat ewes, 7s 6d ; ewes, 5s 7d to 7s 9d, according to quality. Pigs. — Dull of sale. Small porkers, 7s 9d to 9s 6d ; suckers and weaners, 2s 6d to 4s. Horses.— Little or no business done.
