Hotel at Danevirke.
Tenders close at noon to-morrow tor alterations and additions to a hotel at Danevirke, for Mr Buddeley. When these are completed the hotel m question will be one of the most convenient m the North Island, and will contain 27 rooms, including commercial room, 24 x 12, dining-room, 27 x 16, bathroom, with hot and cold water laid on, and a shower bath attached. The internal finishing ot the ceilings m most cases will be of mock panelling, the dadoing being done m the same style. There will be a balcony and verandah running round three sides of the building. In the event of fire, ample provision has been made, m the way of affording means of rapid and easy egress, there also being a very ample water storage, as well as a compltste and efficient system of distribution, Mr Larconib is the architect, m whose hands all details are receiving careful attention, and at whose office m Pultnerston plans can be seen.
