Sir,— Some persons are circulating a report to the effect that the Palmerston School Committee refuged the deputation from Wanganui the use of the schoolroom for holding the inquiry with respect to the late election of School Committee, Now, Sir, what the Committee were never asked for, they could not have refused. I would therefore ask you m justice to myself and the Committee, to publish a copy . of Mr Wright's letter to myself, and then people can judge for themselves whether the Committee were iv fault or not. 4-1 am, etc. A. ?tewabt, Chairman Palmeraton School Committee.
