(by elsgrric telegraph.— coptrigh'l.) (reuter's telegrams). • Madrid, May 14, A disastrous hurricane passed over the city to-day, by which no lens than 70 persons lost their lives. Over 200 received more or less serious injuries. The damage to property was als* enormous, buildings being unroofed, and m maoy cases entirely destroyed. London, May 13. There is growing excitement m Ulster over Homo Rule proposals. The Government and ihe Orangemen are making open oreparations for resistance iv case the Bill should become law.
