There are little or no alterations from last report. Potatoes are still m a most unsatisfactory condition ; there are large quantities of inferior sorts offering, for which holders would be glad to accept almost any price ; at same time really good potatoes are exceedingly scarce. Salt butter has very little sale at lOd to 10id ; fresh butter is worth lid to Is. Hams and bacon — For prime quality, Sd to 9(\ ; cheese, Gd ; fowls, 3s to. 3s 6d ; ducks, 3s Gd to 4s ; geese, ss, to 6s por pair ; turkeys have been m full supply, and realised as low as 3s 6d each.
