[Wanganui Paper*]. "■' Altogether some 1200 men bay b* looked for, and dow that the tents are all to hand, there is seen to be ample accotninodation tor all. A programme for Easter Monday's review has been drawn up. The tents have been divided into four blocks of 30 each, the Wellington, Wan. ganui, and Nelson Battalions having the first three squares, and the Artillery and and Cavalry companies and troops th» fourth. The following has been issued by CoL Stapp : — Whatever may be the relations existing between officer and non-commis-sioned officers, &c., m private life, it should nevertheless be , distinctly understood add appreciated by all concerned and when m uniform (especially ig th« streets and public places) the relative military positions of the parties are, ia the interest of discipline and example, to be strictly maintained, and custom arj observances of the service from subordinate towards superior m all respects strictly carried oat. — Officers of all grades cannot too forcibly point out to those under their command the great impropriety of appearing m the streets or other public places partially dressed m uniform or entirely m plain clothes.—Nothing has a more umnititary appear* ance, or shows a greater want ot attention to the first rules of military service, than for officers non commissioned of' fleers, or men to smoke when m unifo.ro> m (he atr^ete gx otl^r jmiWJo, pUcea>
