About 2500 Volunteers are expected here, th« majority arriving on Friday morning. The camp is pitched on the Racecourse, i about three miles out of Oamaru, but it only a short distance from the railway. , Colonel Whitmore is expected here tomorrow. , A grand naval fcttact on" th« town takes place on Saturday under th» direction of Admiral Scott. A number of steamers will take part m the demonstration, which will be on a larger icalo than anything of th« kind preyipuily held m the Colony. The Hineinoa, Ellen Ballance, Koputci, Hawera, and probably two other steamers, will tak« part besides the torpedo boati.
