FREEMAN R. JACKSON'S & CO..S FORTNIGHTLY STOCK REPORT. About the usual quantity of stock passed through our hands dnjin? the past fortnight. We have no alteration m value to quote. Bidding on the whole has been rather dull, excepting for lambs and wethers — these command full rates. We seld nearly all the stock that came forward at or after the auctions. Our Saturday horse sales are well attended, and a fair amount of business is done. Cattle.— At Waverlej— Bullocks, £4 14s ; forward cows, £2 17s ; others, £2 6s 6d to £2 12s 6d ; weaners, 17a to 25s 6d. At St. Hill-street — Forward cows, £2 17s ; heifers, 36s to 40s ; 2-vr-old steers, £2 3s ; milch cows, £2 15s to .£3 15s. Sheep.— At "Waverley— Fat ewas, 7s to 7s 8d ; ewes, 4s 7d. At St. Hill-street — Store wetherp, 8s 2d to 83 7d; fat ewes, 7s; wethers, 8s 9d ; lambs m wool, 4s lid, shorn lambs, 4s 6d ; breeding ovres, 5s 6d to 6s 4d ; old ewes, 3s 3d to 4s. Pigs. — The pens were well filled'; porkers, 10s to 19s ; smaller pigs, 6s to Bs. Horses. — No alteration m quotations ; good hacks ud to £10 10s ; unbroken hacks, £4 to £6 ; draughts, £13 to £15 ; screws and weeds, 20s to 455.
