MESSRS BECKETT, HAMMOND & DICK'S REPORT. Marton, Sitarday. Our stock sale at the Club Yards yesterday was well attended, but the bidding was not brisk. We had some difficulty m extracting bids of any kind for cattle. Sheep, however sold better, but at a rtduced value. We quitted all the pent either at or after the sale. 250 head of cattle and 2,000 sheep and 12 pigs mad* up our list, We quote— Pat cows, £3 ss ; cows and calves, 35s to 43s ; twoyear speyed heifers, £2 sb; 2-yrsteeri, £B; 18-months' (mixed*, £2 2s 6d; i weaners. 21s to 245 ; fat wstberi, 8s to 8s 6d ; store wethers, 7s to 7s 6d ; breed* ing ewes,. 4s to 5s 3d; lambs 3s to 4«. We sold the racing back, Motueki, for 20 guineas. /
