MESSRS HUNTER AND NOLAN'S REPORT. ;; Auckland, Friday. Horses.— There was an increase m the number offered for sale last Friday, and prices were a little more satisfactory to sellers, and a good many horses changed hands at auction. At the Durham yards last Friday for young horses, strangers to the yards, competition wan brisk, and most of the lots submitted found purchasers. We quote hacks at from £5 10s to £los ; lisrht harness, £1 15s to £12 ; dranghts, £23. Fat cattle. — The competition on Tuesday was languid, and prices for indifferently fatted and old cows receded a shade. '■ '■ t I Fat sheep were [in' adequate supply, and a steady demand, but prices for fat ewes declined slightly. Fat lambs sufficient for requirements were unaltered m value. Piss were yarded m large numbers on Tuesday, a good number being coarse stores. Good porkers realised 3£d per Ib, liye weight.
