(press association) f Special to the Standard.) Wellington, Mondays 10.30 a.m. The steamer Taiaroa, bound from Wellingtou to Lyttelton, went ashore near the Clarence River yesterday, the vessel is on .her beam ends. Two passengers were washed ashore. It is believed all lives have been lost.
