THE MARIPOSA'S CREW.
' San Fbajstcibco, March 13. There was some trouble m regard to to the Mariposa's crew. Just previous to sailing they were ordered oat by ther President of the Steamshipmen's Protective Union, who demanded that tho stewart should take to sea with him •> crew* of Union men. A letter to -the- . head steward demanded that the llari* posa should go to sea 'with a butcher and fifteen waiters, 7 whereat the ship at present has sixteen waiters, and does not', require a butcher, as all meats are da* livere on board dressed. The Drtiident of the : Union declared that if Mr Spreckles took "scabs" oh board the Mariposa, the Union would seal him up m Sydney, and prevent Jhitn fettm** coal there. ,
