A meeting of persons interested m the formation of a Company to further prospect the above claim was held m the Schoolhouse Auhurst, ou Saturday • last at 7 p.m. About 30 persons attended including Messrs Uaultain, 'Belt aud Shailoi" from Pahnurslon. Mr Elaultaiu was voted to the chair aud after discussion had taken place it was resolved that a company be formed and 24,000 shares issued at 5s each, payable Id on application, Id on allotinunt, aud the ballauce when required at ' cnl'^not exceeding Id per share per month. It was also resolved that a drive be further made m the claim to take out 5 tons of quartz same to be forwarded toThames for smelting. The meeting then adjourned for a week to allow the caavt.B for shareholders to be proceeded with. A fuller report will appear into-morrow's issue
